Heavy Equipment Operator
- Position Location : Blythwood, SC 29016
- Position Type : Full-Time
- Position Pay : $22.00 - $30.00
- Job Type : Commercial Construction
The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 6 months of experience operating forklifts, Backhoe, Skid Steers, and Excavators safely and effectively.
Heavy Equipment Operator Job Duties :
- Operate and maneuver heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Perform routine inspections on equipment
- Always observe safety codes while operating equipment
- Inspect equipment before operating to ensure it's in working order
- Monitor performance and adjust settings
- Fill out performance records to report equipment issues
- Track maintenance, and alert supervisors when maintenance is due
- Other duties as requested by supervisors
Minimum Qualifications :
- Advanced knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to operating heavy equipment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain stationary in seats while operating equipment for prolonged periods
- Basic writing skills to accurately complete reports, logs, etc.
